Welcome to Rose Garden Software, based in beautiful Bend, Oregon. I am Ed Gavin, the Principal Consultant and founder. I specialize in custom software and embedded firmware for Consumer, Medical and Industrial devices.
Background
Prior to starting Rose Garden Software, I worked in the San Francisco Bay area for several successful tech companies including Applied Biosystems, Caliper Life Sciences, Ciphergen Biosystems as a Manager or Director of Software Development. I was a Principal Software Engineer at Dionex Corporation developing software for Ion Chromatography and analytical chemistry applications.

Since starting Rose Garden Software, I have enjoyed working with customers in the Medical Device, Consumer and Biotechnology sectors. I enjoy working on projects in all phases of product development including feasibility, conception, software development and product testing.
